M = Meets grade level standard (85+)

P = Progressing towards grade level standard (70-85)

L = Limited progress (below 70)

M = Mastery (80+%)

P = Progressing towards mastery (70-79% goal*)

L = Limited progress (69% and below)

 

*If at any time your child is below the goal of 80% but they are still making significant progress (20 points or more), their report card will be marked at P for progressing. For example, a student starts the year scoring 15% on their basic addition and by the winter they have improved to 35% they will still earn a "P" for progressing.
